Pick up a map at the Brisbane Tourist Information in the centrally located Queen St. Mall and go for a walk to explore the many historic buildings. You can also see the Queensland government in action at Parliament House. Currently Queensland politics are pretty calm, it used to be livelier when Joh Bjelke Petersen or Pauline Hanson were around, or maybe in the future Jodie Moore might liven things up again, (find them on our amazing politicians page).
