Rainforest Hideaway is an amazing, owner-built, tropical
design house and has private cabins and regular visits
by wildlife, including cassowaries, deep inside the
oldest rainforest in the world but, and surprisingly,
the nights are mosquito-free! There is a sculpture trail
on the property for you to explore, the owner is always
adding to it.
Rainforest Hideaway is situated at the base of Mount
Sorrow within walking distance of Cape Tribulation "town"centre,
breathtaking beaches, National Park boardwalk, restaurants,
bars and shops.
Cape Tribulation is where the Daintree rainforest meets
the Great Barrier Reef and there is a wide variety of

Camping in Cape
Tribulation
Noah Beach (pictured on right)
is only a couple of km. south of Cape Tribulation and right
next to the beach there is a National Parks camping ground.
This camping ground is very popular through most of the
season so advance bookings are essential and can be made
through the Mossman office of National Parks and Wildllife

Facilities are basic, toilets only but no showers.
There are better equipped camping facilities at Cape
Tribulation Camping , and PK's
Jungle Village, all have laundry and kitchen facilities,
hot showers, powered and unpowered sites, and also safari cabins
for those who don't want to carry their own tents, these are canvas
tents on a timber floor.
Cape
Tribulation Camping has the best location being
situated right on Myall Beach, and is quieter than PK's
which has a bar till midnight.
